Day 3 & 4 Hawaii..

Had a fun surf at Pipe yesterday morning. Managed to get some sneaky long tubes amongst the heavy pipe crowds! In the afternoon we headed back to keiki to pull into a few sandy slabs. Jon Wright came up with some nice photos yet AGAIN! www.jonwrightphoto.com

Today we had the Pipe trials at Sandy beach on the south shore of Oahu. Luckily I only had to surf the trials for the DK as I managed to snag one of the top ten spots in the main event from the Australian Pro tour! Unfortunately I didn't progress through my DK heats. Had some fun at Sandy Beach with Shaun Petersen and Manny Vargas between heats.

Day 2 Hawaii.

Managed to get a couple of fun small waves this morning while pipe was still too big.

Pipe started to turn on at about lunch time but seemed to be more productive for me to film, with not too many guys getting the good ones between solid wash throughs.

I just arrived in Hawaii. Big messy waves on the north shore today. Not really anywhere to surf!

Off to Hawaii TODAY!

I'm off to Hawaii this afternoon. I've had plenty of support from my sponsors. STEALTH hooking me up with two boards. One PP Jet and a 3D Invader. Both of these boards have been going sick in the past so I thought I had better take one of each! Along with the boards STEALTH also threw in a Tank wheel'y bag a few leashes, Fins and wax! DUNES also came along to the party and sent me a nice Black spring suit for the colder early morning sessions and super crowded days where you might go hours in between waves at pipe...eeek! Looks like there is a solid swell for when I arrive! The past week has had good waves around home with plenty of fun ones coming through the Island. Perfect warm up for Hawaii!

Hawaii 2012

I have booked my ticket and am ready to head over to Hawaii again. This is now my 6th or 7th season in Hawaii and I'm sure I'll still struggle just as much as ever to get waves at Pipe! I love it over there though! Looking forward to it and have entered in the pipe comp again for both Mens and DropKnee just to double my chances of getting a result! I fly out from Sydney on February 8th. Good times ahead :)

New year. New things.

Two of my good school friends Jayden and Emma recently got engaged. We went and had some fun to celebrate their engagement. Looking forward to these two finally taking the leap!
